Google, Salesforce rival: Disney is considering a takeover bid for Twitter-Twitter, Disney-IT information

According to people familiar with the matter say, the Walt Disney Company (The Walt Disney) was in talks with a financial consultant about Twitter. Transaction assessment could launch a takeover.

Requesting anonymity because of undisclosed people familiar with the matter said, after understanding some trading intentions, Twitter launched the evaluation process to a potential sale. Salesforce.com is also considering a bid, which is working with the United States Bank in talks.

Twitter and the Walt Disney Company representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

In recent months, speculation around Twitter may sell more, including last week's news that Salesforce to its potential, under the influence of the news, Twitter's share price surged on Friday to 21%. Disney's final bid, would help to consolidate its streaming media strategy. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is also a Disney Director.
