10月16日消息，9月29日，日本警方以涉嫌非法侵权传播动漫作品在京都逮捕了两名中国人，这两名中国人均为某中国字幕组成员。这一事件被报道后引起不少动漫爱好者的关注，而在近日，更有部分动漫爱好者在香港举行了游行，要求日本政府释放中国字幕组成员。

游行主要发生在香港旺角地区，参与者于10月15日在旺角亚皆老街出发，游行路线途径西洋菜南街、弥敦道以及先达广场、信和广场等因为动漫模型店较多而相关爱好者比较集中的地方。

游行者举出多面条幅和标语，声援字幕组成员的同时向周围人讲述字幕组被捕事件，希望看过字幕组作品的人能够加入游行队伍，要求日本政府释放中国字幕组成员。
