2016年3月15日，DOTA2迎来了一个针对自定义地图（RPG地图）开发者的福利更新，部分高质量RPG地图将开放额外付费体验，也就是RPG地图作者可以开始盈利了！

支持自定义游戏开发者

社区里的少数高质量RPG游戏将提供Custom Games Pass(相当于充值会员服务)。

实际上所有RPG都是可以免费玩的，以Roshpit Champion(英雄试炼之肉山谷)为例子，现在玩家只要充值一美刀该地图的会员，就能获30天的一些福利，比如多角色槽位啊，还有隐藏属性啊。

PS：简单来说就是某些高质量RPG地图增加额外的付费体验，所有自定义地图游戏还是免费的。
