在此之前HTC已经两战两败。HTC因侵犯诺基亚USB相关专利和NFC蓝牙文件传输相关专利而遭禁售。此次德国慕尼黑法院驳回了诺基亚针对HTC侵犯其欧洲第0804046号专利的控告。

HTC表达了对于德国法院的感谢，并表示这证明了诺基亚正在过度扩张其专利使用范围。
