21日，任贤齐出席香港国际电影节，自曝个人电脑遭到骇客入侵窃取资料，他接受《东网》访问表示，骇客在盗取证件和密码等资料后，用他的电子邮件信箱联络银行，要银行把钱全部汇到另一个户头，所幸后来他接到银行的确认电话，发现了这件事，否则后果不堪设想。

任贤齐透露电脑内有许多生活照与私人资料，暂时还不知道是否有遗失，目前只能等待警方查核；他也表示不会讲出损失的金额数目，因为“说太多是大话、说太少又没面子”，所以他选择保留最后结果。
