据了解，袁某使用的无人机重量约为740g，其建议飞行高度仅为120米。而袁某在拍摄视频时，无人机的升空高度为450米。此外，袁某也没有取得无人机驾驶执照。
据袁某称，他这次操控无人机升空是为了拍日落，恰好当时有民航客机经过，因此他就转而拍摄飞机。

袁某：我知道，因为我家就在那边。
记者：那您为什么还在往那飞呢？
袁某：因为我以前一直认为飞机的高度是比较高的，我飞的高度肯定比飞机低很多，所以我觉得并不妨碍飞机的飞行。以前是这么认为的。
袁某：我一开始是在那边拍日落，因为那天空气比较好，那个日落特别漂亮，我在那边拍日落的。恰好旁边有飞机飞过，我发现飞机就在我旁边，然后我就顺便转过去拍了一下。
袁某违规机场附近为限制区域
警方表示，机场附近是限制区域，袁某的行为不仅严重威胁到了民航客机的飞行安全，而且违反了相关的法律法规。
警方表示，机场跑道每端延长线15公里和机场跑道每侧6公里范围是净空保护区。
浙江省公安厅机场公安局场区派出所教导员唐坤良：严禁升放“低慢小”飞行器、燃放升空烟花爆竹、升放飞艇气球和孔明灯放养鸽子、燃烧秸秆垃圾这种行为，这种行为对航班飞行造成直接的威胁。
法律人士表示，在这次事件中，袁某既没有取得驾驶员资格又在未经地面管理局评估的情况下进入限飞区域，违反了《民用机场管理条例》相关规定。
律师周望：违反了《民用机场管理条例》第49条、第79条相关规定。应当交由机场所在地县级以上人民政府相关部门进行处理，情节轻微的应当责令改正。情节严重的，应当处以两万元到十万元的罚款。
袁某：我非常后悔这件事情，后悔近距离拍摄民航飞机降落的这个过程，对此，我觉得我已经严重影响到了民航客机的正常的安全飞行。我以后不会再这么做了，也希望广大飞友爱好者能够引以为戒。
目前，该起事件还在进一步调查处理当中。而袁某拍摄使用的无人机的生产公司也表示，将尽快推出相关预警系统。
