Bridge will be equipped with 28 sensors for measuring body tension and the curvature of the bridge, the data will be transmitted in real time to the project team, and some data such as temperature, humidity and UV intensity within the scope of monitoring.

Project leader Rijk Blok said use of biological material in construction helps to reduce dependency on finite fossil resources, and hope that the future will see more such material is applied to the field of architecture.
