从整体上看，中国数字出版产业在2015年的收入规模达到4403.9亿元人民币，比上一年增长30%。

吴尚之表示，中国网络用户群体基数庞大，数字内容消费需求持续增长，而网络文学、有声读物、自媒体等新兴形态造就了全新消费热点，同时大批新媒体、动漫、游戏等新兴出版企业的涌现，使得数字出版阵营不断壮大。
