他具体解释说，英特尔此前的芯片更多是运用在PC等运算为主的领域，而智能手机则需要集中各种功能模块，需要设计快、成本低、功耗低。英特尔不可能做完所有芯片，要有选择性地做Soc。英特尔擅长的是高运算能力的芯片，提供实时感知等新技术的产品，在低功耗和低成本芯片领域，并不是英特尔的所长，或许更适合ARM。他举例说，小米手环这样产品所用的芯片，就不需要英特尔的芯片。
