据悉，Beam将继续保持原来的经营模式，即为Xbox One、PlayStation 4以及PC等其他任何平台的用户提供流媒体内容。不过随着Beam并入微软Xbox部分，Beam也会为Xbox服务提供一些额外的便利。

微软则可以凭借Beam服务完善自家的互动式流媒体服务，《我的世界》这类游戏的社交属性也会随之增强。如果开发得当，微软将来可以在互动式流媒体服务中获得巨大价值。
