Han Sang Beom还表示，受到目前小尺寸OLED显示屏幕需求增大的趋势影响，目前LG也在加快投资制造OLED显示屏幕来与市场竞争者竞争，并且会逐渐关闭老生产线为新产品让出空间。他表示：“我们不得不依靠液晶屏，因为来自OLED显示屏的营收目前只占到公司营收的不足10%。我们从未考虑放弃液晶屏业务，但是正在考虑逐步关闭老生产线。”
