UBER driver raped woman sentenced to 4.5 years: in court appeal-Uber, taxi, limousine driver-IT information

Guangzhou car driver Deng Junjia alleged case of rape of a female passenger, today at about 10 o'clock in the morning at the Guangzhou Baiyun district court verdicts: Deng Junjia was found to constitute the crime of rape, sentenced to four years and six months.

广州专车司机邓俊嘉涉嫌强奸女乘客一案，今天上午10时许在广州市白云区法院一审宣判：邓俊嘉被判构成强奸罪，判处有期徒刑四年六个月。

今年30岁的广州人邓俊嘉，之前是优步专车平台的司机。广州市白云区法院一审查明，2015年5月29日3时许，被告人邓俊嘉作为“Uber”专车平台的司机，在接到时年21岁的被害人关某某的订单并接其上车后，乘其醉酒无防范能力之机，将其带至广州市白云区金沙洲一酒店客房内实施了奸淫。

法院经依法审理后，认定被告人邓俊嘉无视国家法律，强奸妇女，其行为已构成强奸罪。公诉机关指控的犯罪事实清楚，证据确实、充分，罪名成立。

法院在宣判中还提到，邓俊嘉曾因盗窃罪被判刑，2013年刑满释放。法院据此指出，邓俊嘉被判处有期徒刑以上刑罚执行完毕后，在五年以内再犯应当判处有期徒刑以上刑罚之罪，是累犯，应当从重处罚。

邓俊嘉听到判决结果后，当庭表示要上诉。
