戴尔已经在上月发行了价值200亿美元的投资级担保债券，并在上周获得了50亿美元机构贷款。在为收购EMC交易筹资方面，戴尔已经取得了很大进展。不过，戴尔周三的债券发行依旧得到了广泛关注，部分原因是在去年年底高利率债券市场萎缩后，低信用评级债券需求出现反弹。

和此前发行的其它债券和贷款一样，戴尔的无担保债券吸引了投资者的浓厚兴趣。投资者已经表达了对于戴尔电脑硬件业务长期前景的担忧。不过，投资者对于戴尔提供的债券利率感到满意，看好戴尔能够使用自由现金流相对迅速地削减背负的高额债务。

戴尔的无担保债券将由摩根大通等投行负责发行，分为5年期债券和8年期债券，利率约为6.25%、7.5%。这些债券的信用评级为BB，高于标准垃圾级债券的评级。巴克莱银行的数据显示，BB级债券的平均利率为5.27%。
