日前，国外一段记录两只澳大利亚笑翠鸟争食的视频引起网友关注，视频中两只笑翠鸟为争夺一小块肉嘴对嘴僵持了数小时，因为僵持时画面几乎静止，网友甚至以为自己电脑卡死。然而一旁的观察者尝试用多种方法分开它们，结果都没有成功。

视频显示，两只笑翠鸟为了一小块肉僵持不下，嘴对嘴咬住肉并保持这一姿势，谁也不愿意松口。双方对峙持续了数小时依然没有任何一方妥协，傍晚时分，视频拍摄者给它们盖上纸巾以便保暖。
