具体来看，2016财年度尼康数码单反相机的销售成绩下降明显，其中销售量部分下降11%，营业收入部分则下降19%。导致业绩下滑的部分原因来自于汇率波动，无论是销售量还是营业收入，尼康都没能达到之前的预期。

在数码相机市场萎缩、新产品延期发布、熊本地震以及汇率波动等因素的夹击下，尼康新一财年的业绩恐难有复苏的迹象，其销售量预期还将下跌15%，营业收于则会下跌23%。
