HP recognized counselling: pays $ 100 million with PGGM reconciliation-Hewlett-Packard-IT information

According to foreign media reports, the Netherlands pension fund manager PGGM said on Tuesday, buying big data analytics company Autonomy caused by the class-action lawsuit, HP agreed to pay a $ 100 million settlement.

PGGM says HP value on Autonomy had made "false and misleading" statements.

After the acquisition is completed, due to "inappropriate accounting principles are applied and the company is overvalued" HP Autonomy asset writedown of $ 8.8 billion. The events causing HP's shares fell sharply, PGGM thought that "serious harm to the interests of shareholders."

PGGM is a major sponsor of the class action. Settlement will be paid to a special fund to compensate affected investors.
