Nokia maps business HERE has announced plans to buy Seattle Medio Systems companies to elevate their location services.

Nokia latest exit Smartphone business, and a management reorganization, but HERE Nokia maps maps services remained an important part of it. HERE Nokia is Nokia Windows Phone device an integral part of it. Now for the map technology, Nokia announced that it would acquire Medio.

Nokia said in a press release, the deal will make HERE the map to the next level, "personalization and scenario maps and service," CEO Michael Halbherr HERE will be referred to as "cognitive map". Medio has acquired large amounts of real-time data, primarily through cloud-based predictive analysis engine analysis.

The combination of technology and HERE map platform will allow Nokia to provide a better user experience, predictable traffic patterns, recommend alternative routes or basis user featured places of interest.
