在今天举办的全球移动互联大会（GMIC）上，福特宣布与高德、百度结成SmartDeviceLink(SDL)伙伴关系。SDL是福特SYNC AppLink技术的开源版。
高德、百度将在开源的框架下共同参与SDL的研发和标准化工作。“用SNYC AppLink将精选应用程序移植到我们的车内，让我们得以与消费时尚保持同步。但是我们也认识到了应用开发者存在着推广和兼容性的重大挑战，SDL项目就是要改变这一现状。”福特亚太区产品开发副总裁Trevor Worthington表示。
据介绍，福特是第一家将专利源代码开源的美国汽车厂商，该公司试图通过SDL项目，建立开源的、全行业的技术平台，以此简化车内软件开发过程。“福特SDL为应用开发者提供一个统一的接口。”高德执行副总裁杨永琦谈到。
