Who'd earned a gold medal? Innovation Games, you may think u won the gold medal. However, according to the latest research, it can't get even silver.
Bloomberg recently for 215 countries and regions studied, judging their innovative capacity. It concluded out of the top 30 countries and territories on the list. Innovation index consists of 7 items, including research and development intensity, productivity, technology-intensive, research personnel-intensive, manufacturing capacity, higher efficiency, and patent activity.
By Bloomberg News based on the overall innovation capacity rankings in all countries and territories, consider definitions of the seven indicators and weights as follows:
Research and development intensity (20%): research and development expenditure as percentage of GDP;
Productivity (20%): aged 15 or above in China GDP;
High technology intensity (20%): the high-tech listed companies (such as aerospace and defense, biotechnology, semiconductors, hardware, software, Internet software and services, and renewable energy companies) the percentage of the total number of listed companies;
Researchers intensity (20%): the professionals engaged in research and development work per 1 million people (including PhD) quantity;
Manufacturing capacity (10%): added value for the manufacturing sector as percentage of GDP and the share of global manufacturing's share of gross value added;
Efficiency of higher education (5%): tertiary school graduates as percentage of people my own age; proportion of the workforce has a degree in higher education; annual science and engineering graduates as percentage of labour force and as percentage of total number of higher education graduates;
Patent activity (5%): for every 1 million residents and resident patent filings per 1 million of spending on research and development, and patents granted as percentage of total global.

彭博社最近对215个国家和地区进行了研究,判断它们的创新能力。它最后总结出了排名前30的国家和地区榜单。创新指标共有7项,包括研发强度、生产力、高科技密集度、研究人员密集度、制造能力、高等教育效率和专利活动。
彭博社依据整体创新能力对各个国家和地区进行排名,考量的七项指标的定义和权重具体如下:
研发强度(20%):研发支出占GDP的百分比;
生产力(20%):每15岁或以上从业人员GDP;
高科技密集度(20%):高科技上市公司(如航空航天与国防、生物技术、硬件、软件、半导体、互联网软件与服务和可再生能源公司)占所有上市公司的百分比;
