　　中新社广州11月30日电 (记者 索有为)经中共广东省纪委有关负责人30日证实，惠州市政协副主席邓炳球因涉嫌严重违纪，正在接受组织调查。

　　资料显示，邓炳球生于1957年10月，惠州教育学院行政管理专业毕业，1974年9月参加工作，1975年9月加入中共。现任惠州市政协副主席、党组成员、秘书长、办公室主任。

　　邓炳球曾在惠东县白花莆田中学任教，2003年6月任中共惠阳区委副书记、惠阳区政府区长；此后担任过惠州市公路管理局局长，中共龙门县委书记、县人大常委会主任等职务，2009年2月任职惠州市政协，2010年1月至今任惠州市政协副主席。
