　　29日，记者在位于该区北魏石窟立碑处发现，石窟坐东朝西，北魏石窟正位于110国道路西边的两条铁路线中间。在石窟的稍远处，是一大型煤场。一阵大风刮过，尘土飞扬，煤灰更是顺着风势肆无忌惮地扫荡着这里的一切。

　　记者观察到，石窟的平面近似马蹄形，内雕凿近两米高的释迦本尊坐像，因风化严重且手臂残损，手印、衣纹、面相均无从辨认；但可看见眉宇间有白毫，螺发高肉髻。石窟顶部由八个飞天围绕一巨大的双匝瓣莲花所组成，其周围有天女舞乐像，飞天形态各异，因为位于顶部因此保存较为完好。石窟上部雕有三排小佛像，已风化不清。石窟左右壁均雕有造像，较完整者有十几躯，造像上身及两臂较长，肌肉丰满，身姿矫健，也为石佛像。

　　因为近于煤场，且两边是过往铁路，记者看到，石佛雕像上覆盖着一层厚厚的煤灰，宛若一尊“黑佛”。

　　王文升告诉记者，煤灰属于表面现象，但也会对石窟产生污染。然而更为重要的是，这座北魏石窟紧贴铁路，铁轨的震动已对石窟构成了破坏性的威胁。

　　尹辉表示，目前，下花园区对石窟进行了封闭式保护，基本不对外开放。但铁轨的震动及煤尘的污染，使这一千年石窟岌岌可危。他认为，这些困难没有一定的人力财力都很难克服。(完)
