　　美国企业高管担心特朗普政府为争取中方在朝鲜问题上配合而在经济上让步。他们还担心，美政府在经济上依然关心的是钢铁和其他重工业，而不是在将来很重要的科技。

　　代表团并未提出具体政策建议，但几名成员呼吁对中国的投资提议进行新水平的评估。他们想要政府认识到，中国经济目前的运行方式与美国推动开放全球贸易体系时所期望的不一样——等待它“演进”行不通了。
