两个月前，工人日报重庆记者站接到一封署名为“一个有良知的中国人”的举报信。信中称，2016年10月22日，上汽集团安吉物流有限公司副总经理姚某浩应上汽依维柯红岩商用车有限公司（以下简称上依红公司）之邀，参加该公司举行的新车型（轿运车）上市仪式，并参加了该公司在位于重庆两江新区的温德姆酒店（五星）举行的晚宴活动，喝酒甚多。后又参加众泰汽车的应酬活动。终因喝酒太多，回温德姆酒店后于第二天凌晨不幸死亡，年仅四十余岁。事后，该事件被快速秘密处理，没有一个公开的说法。
该举报信还称，在加强党风廉政建设，严格执行中央“八项规定”的今天，却发生这样的大吃大喝而且喝死人的大事，希望上汽集团和上依红公司能给社会公众一个合理合法的解释，也希望媒体能介入调查，督促相关部门对相关负责人予以严处。

转眼间，一个多月过去了，记者几乎都快忘了举报信一事。3月底，一个偶然的机会，记者在网上看到了两条关于举报信中提及的安吉物流副总姚某浩猝死的信息，时间为2016年11月17和18日。但除此之外，便无更多有效信息。

根据数年的媒体从业经验、相关负责人模糊的说辞以及拒接电话的态度，记者判断该举报信中的描述或许不是空穴来风，于是记者再次进行了调查采访。
4月5日，清明节假期刚过，《工人日报》记者又拨打了上汽集团的电话，这一次电话接通了，但当记者刚说完，“上汽集团旗下安吉物流是不是有一个姚姓副总”时，电话就被挂断了，之后任凭记者如何拨打，都处于无人接听的状态。
随后，记者通过多种途径获得了上依红公司党群工作部负责人的办公室电话。交谈期间，该负责人说：“这个事情要去问其它部门，我们是党群工作部门。”
记者问道，“现在‘八项规定‘出台后，如果真是因为喝酒出了问题，党群工作部门是不是也应该介入调查？” “这个没证实（正式）的一些说法。”该负责人回答道。“这个事情还确实有？”记者立马追问道。“这个不晓得，你去问那个匿名举报的人是什么意思。”该负责人回答记者的问题后，让记者找办公室的人了解情况。

为还原事实真相，《工人日报》记者进行了多方采访调查。一名知情人向记者透露，这位楼总以前是上依红公司的副总，此前上依红公司的老总是杨汉琳，现在已被调回上汽集团总部。“杨总的调离就发生在姚总来重庆之后。”该知情人说
7日，记者联系上了姚某浩赴重庆期间（2016年10月）时任上依红公司总经理的杨汉琳。“姚总不是因为喝酒发生的事故，他是因为身体的原因发生的事故。”杨汉琳说。
