目前，日本中国只有一所公立中学开设“枪剑道”。日本学校新学期始于每年4月1日，人们担心，在日本官方鼓励和军政要人的极力推动下，今后会有更多学校开始向孩子们传授如何“拼刺刀”。

《教育勅语》是明治政府以来日本学校的基本教育方针，与《军人勅谕》一道，构成战前日本军国主义教育的两大“神器”，核心精神是给全体国民尤其是军人洗脑，灌输誓死效忠天皇的“皇国思想”。

战败后，日本将《教育勅语》排除出教育体系。试图让军国教育从历史垃圾堆中复活，是日本政府部门出台“拼刺刀”课程的大背景，也让安倍政府上台这些年来，企图还魂军国主义的路线图愈加清晰。
3月22日，日本海上自卫队最大航母级直升机驱逐舰“加贺号”正式服役。“加贺号”是二战期间日军主力航母，曾参与侵华战争和突袭珍珠港，后被美军击沉。
