China Launches "first the first" new technology test satellite

Xinhua News Agency, Gansu, Jiuquan March 3 (reporters Li Guoli and and Li Xiaofan)-7:53 March 3, at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China by exploiting the second carrier rocket, successfully "Kun first" technology experiment satellite launched satellites into orbit.


"First the first" new technology test satellite was developed by the China Aerospace Science and industry Corporation independent of the first satellite, the main objective is to carry out remote sensing small satellite platform technology, communications and validation tests. The successful launch of the satellite, it has expanded the small low-orbit satellite spectrum.


Implementation of this mission is exploiting the second rocket of China Aerospace Science and industry Corporation in the field of commercial space planning, one of the five delivery systems, delivering high performance, mobile launch capability, response speed, low emission guarantees, environmental adaptability characteristics, load expandability to meet variety, versatile, multi-mission satellite launching needs.

  新华社甘肃酒泉3月3日电(李国利、李潇帆)3月3日7时53分,中国在酒泉卫星发射中心用开拓二号运载火箭,成功将“天鲲一号”新技术试验卫星发射升空,卫星顺利进入预定轨道。


  “天鲲一号”新技术试验卫星是由中国航天科工集团公司独立自主研制的首颗卫星,主要目的是开展遥感、通信和小卫星平台技术验证试验。卫星的成功发射,拓展了中国小型低轨通用卫星平台型谱。


  执行本次发射任务的开拓二号运载火箭是中国航天科工集团公司在商业航天领域规划的五大运载系统之一,具有运载效能高、机动发射能力强、任务响应速度快、发射保障要求低、环境适应性强、载荷拓展性好等特点,可满足多种类、多用途、多任务卫星发射需求。
