In tapping the Indian market, Smartphone manufacturers in the Southeast Asian market, China (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam) will be crowned. Market research firm IDC's latest data show that 2016 OPPO, Huawei and vivo three manufacturers in the Southeast Asian market share has reached 21%, compared with 23% in share of leading manufacturers Samsung.

It is reported that three firms in Southeast Asia can achieve great success mainly because of the focus on taking pictures of their products, and sell the best of the OPPO F1, VIVO V5 and Huawei P9 photos strength is very strong.

In addition, localized marketing IDC believes Chinese manufacturers in Southeast Asia is also an important reason for their success. 此外,IDC认为中国厂商在东南亚的本地化市场营销也是它们成功的重要原因。OPPO找了许多名人代言,成功塑造了该品牌“时髦”的属性,因此成了千禧一代消费者的首选。华为则更加高大上,它们找了许多有国际影响力的代言人,不过华为并不只靠明星效应,它们更加重视产品功能。vivo去年虽然没能进入前五,但去年年底它们也开始了自己声势浩大的产品宣传。

在销量增长上,去年三星和华为都为13%,OPPO则更加惊人,它复制了国内的神话,在东南亚市场销量同比增长137.5%,未来将成为三星最为忌惮的对手。
