据澎湃新闻14日报道，香港富二代微博晒“考察广西时吃穿山甲”与女网友微博晒吃穿山甲事件引发舆论声讨，记者与志愿者组成暗访团发现，穿山甲地下交易仍然猖獗，因为利润丰厚。
暗访团装扮成买家，和卖家见面。他们在验货的时候将穿山甲从麻袋中取了出来。穿山甲被取出麻袋后害怕得缩成一团，进入自我防卫状态。
暗访团问道卖家是否已经将穿山甲加工过，而卖家则说不会掺假，回去杀了就知道。
> 之后大家就开始谈价钱，这两只穿山甲的价格是860元每斤，而两只穿山甲一共15斤，要价12728元人民币。

穿山甲是国家重点二级保护动物，禁止私人捕杀及食用。中国刑法规定，非法猎捕、杀害国家重点保护的珍贵、濒危野生动物的，或者非法收购、运输、出售国家重点保护的珍贵、濒危野生动物及其制品的，处五年以下有期徒刑或者拘役，并处罚金；情节严重的，处五年以上十年以下有期徒刑，并处罚金；情节特别严重的，处十年以上有期徒刑，并处罚金或者没收财产。
希望那些非法买卖食用穿山甲的违法分子都可以得到法律的制裁。
