　　2月11日上午，上游新闻-重庆晨报记者赶到老兵王琪的老家陕西省咸阳市乾县薛录镇薛宅南村。村主任杨党军介绍，薛宅村是一个老村，是唐代大将军薛 仁贵的封地，薛仁贵曾经在此居住过，村里九成村民都姓王。王琪一家有五个兄弟两个姐妹，其中王琪排行老三，五个兄弟中最小的一个兄弟已经去世五六年了。王 琪的弟媳常贵琴介绍，最近几天来采访的记者太多，把王琪的二哥王钰和四弟王顺都累倒了。两人年纪太大，目前在卧床休息。

　　村主任杨党军介绍，为了欢迎老兵回家，村里组织了40多位村民义务打扫卫生，将街道打扫干净，并组织了腰鼓队和秧歌队排练表演。
