　　辽宁省沈阳市中级人民法院于2015年12月2日、2017年1月23日公开开庭审理了辽宁省凤城市原市委书记王国强受贿、巨额财产来源不明一案。

　　经审理查明：2003年至2012年期间，被告人王国强利用担任辽宁省凤城市人民政府市长、中共凤城市委书记的职务便利，为相关企业在减免土地出让金、给予优惠政策、承揽建设项目及结算工程款等事项上提供帮助，向相关企业负责人索要财物，共计折合人民币959.497万元，其行为构成受贿罪。王国强作案后离境前往国外不归。案发后，办案机关依法扣押了王国强存放于他处的钱款人民币1580万元，王国强归案后仅能说明该钱款中部分款项的来源，尚有人民币540万元不能说明来源，其行为构成巨额财产来源不明罪。王国强被通缉后主动回国向办案机关投案，如实供述自己的罪行，具有自首情节，依法可以减轻处罚；王国强认罪、悔罪，且赃款已全部追缴，可以从轻处罚。

　　综合被告人王国强犯罪的事实、性质、情节以及对社会的危害程度，沈阳市中级人民法院依法对王国强以受贿罪，判处有期徒刑七年，并处罚金人民币九十万元；以巨额财产来源不明罪，判处有期徒刑二年；数罪并罚，决定执行有期徒刑八年，并处罚金人民币九十万元；扣押在案的受贿所得赃款以及巨额财产来源不明的非法所得予以没收，上缴国库。
