　　12月30日，江苏省国家安全领导小组办公室在赣榆召开举报危害国家安全线索表彰会，对发现水下可疑装置的渔民张某和电话举报人万某分别给予奖励。

　　9月底，连云港市赣榆区渔民张某在黄海近海海域捕鱼作业时，从海底捞获一个不明装置，上面有清晰的外文文字。其渔民朋友万某获知情况后，认为事关国家安全，即刻向国家安全机关电话举报。国家安全机关接报后高度重视，立即派员带回可疑装置并进行技术分析，发现该装置为国外制造和使用，并具有定位功能。

　　会议提示，维护国家安全是每个公民的神圣职责和光荣义务。公民一旦发现危害国家安全的行为，可拨打国家安全机关设立的举报电话“12339”，对提供重要情况或线索的举报人国家将给予表彰奖励。
