　　中新网柳州12月30日电（韦家勉）广西柳州市中级人民法院12月30日对该市公交车纵火案依法作出一审判决，认定被告人宋彦立犯放火罪，判处死刑，剥夺政治权利终身。

　　经法院查明，2014年11月21日18时17分许，被告人宋彦立在柳州市屏山大道与天山路交叉路口的一辆公交车上放火，造成乘客中2人受重伤、6人受轻伤、3人受轻微伤，价值445200元人民币的公交车被烧毁，该事件曾引起中国关注。宋彦立作案后迅速逃离现场，于同月24日晚在广西梧州市被公安机关抓获归案。

　　法院认为，被告人宋彦立在公共交通工具上放火，危害公共安全，其行为构成放火罪。宋彦立犯罪性质和社会影响极为恶劣，犯罪后果严重，主观恶性极深，人身危险性极大，且毫无悔罪表现，依法应当予以严惩，遂依法作出如上判决。

　　近年来，杭州、北京、银川等地均发生过公交车纵火事件。2016年7月3日，宁夏银川市中级人民法院对该市放火案进行一审宣判，认定被告人马永平犯放火罪，判处死刑，剥夺政治权利终身。
