　　中新社旧金山12月2日电 (记者 刘丹)美国司法部北加州地区检察官办公室1日说，2014年元旦夜间向中国驻旧金山总领事馆正门纵火的中国籍男子冯严丰已被联邦法院判刑35个月及3年监管。

　　中国驻旧金山总领馆2日向中新社记者表示，根据《维也纳领事关系公约》规定，驻在国有义务采取一切必要措施保护外国领事机构人员和馆舍不受侵犯。

　　总领事馆还说，一直密切关注此事处理进展，正在向美方核实了解有关情况，希望美方采取切实有效措施，加强对中国驻美领事机构及其人员的安全保护。
