9月11日上午，江西省泰和县一废弃老桥在拆除施工过程中发生坍塌。事故导致5人受伤（其中2人伤势较重），3人遇难。
泰和县政府3日在其官方网站发布的调查结果显示，施工方在对319国道泰和大桥老桥桥面进行拆除过程中，违反安全操作管理规定，冒险作业，导致发生桥面坍塌，造成多名施工人员掉入江中。
通报称，经查明，在这次责任事故中，有5人不同程度受伤，3人死亡，多台挖掘机及车辆掉入江中，损失巨大。
