“中国长征火箭有限公司的成立意味着中国火箭的商业化时代正式来临。”中国运载火箭技术研究院院长李洪表示。据悉，中国长征火箭有限公司的前身是成立于1998年的中国亚太移动通信卫星有限责任公司，依托中国运载火箭技术研究院而建。今后，该公司将重点推出全新商业火箭系列产品，通过星箭接口标准化、火箭提前备产、批次生产等技术手段，大幅压缩发射成本及履约周期。相较于以往，平均发射服务成本降低超30%、最短履约周期压缩近八成。

基于此，中国长征火箭有限公司将适时推出“太空星网、太空专车、太空顺风车、太空班车”等多种类型的发射服务计划。太空星网是指根据星座组网客户的需求，选择科学合理的载荷搭配与组合，为用户提供最经济的发射方案；太空顺风车，指利用现有长征系列火箭发射任务的剩余运力，面向商业市场提供高性价比的载荷搭载服务；太空班车，指在每年固定时间，以成本价提供定点发射服务；太空专车，指依据客户需求提供从100千克到1000千克的专属、快速发射服务。
