之前找到的两块残骸，已被证实来自这家客机。第一块是在2015年7月于印度洋法属留尼汪岛被发现，第二块是在今年6月23日于坦桑尼亚奔巴岛（Pemba Island）找到。

MH370客机2014年3月8日从吉隆坡飞往北京途中失联，当时机上载有239人。马国民航局2015年1月29日宣布客机失事，并推定机上所有人员都已遇难。
