  据央视新闻报道,日前,中国铅基快中子反应堆研发工作取得重大突破,铅基反应堆核心技术实现了自主化,并跻身到了世界领先水平。沿用此项技术,未来中国还将率先推出只有集装箱大小的迷你型核电源装置“核电宝”。


  经专家组鉴定,由中科院核能安全技术研究所设计研发的世界规模最大、功能最全的“铅基堆冷却剂技术综合实验回路”和“铅基堆冷却剂氧测控技术”,实验能力和运行参数达到国际领先水平,实现了核心技术自主化。


  冷却剂相当于核反应堆中的“血液”,以金属铅为基础的合金材料作为冷却剂,代替传统核电站中的水冷却剂,目前被认为是最安全的核设施冷却材料之一,它不仅可以有效避免像福岛核电站那样的严重灾害,还可以将核燃料的资源利用率延长到千年的级别。因此,铅基反应堆可应用于第四代核电、未来聚变电站等,同时可在海水淡化等工业生产领域发挥作用,从而推动清洁能源的发展。


  据介绍,中科院核能安全技术研究正在对铅基反应堆进行系统实验和工程技术验证,并计划在全球率先研发出只有集装箱大小的迷你型核电源装置“核电宝”,以满足海岛海洋平台、偏远地区分布式供电需求。


  观察者网注意到,今年4月,就有报道称,中科院合肥物质科学研究院核能安全技术研究所建成中国首座铅冷快堆关键技术实验装置——高温液态纯铅实验回路,并成功调试。


  该装置采用纯铅作为循环工质,设计运行温度达600℃,具备开展铅冷快堆结构材料腐蚀、非能动热工安全循环以及关键设备验证的研究能力,可为第四代反应堆主选堆型之一——铅冷快堆设计与研发提供工程经验与实验数据,将进一步增强中国在先进核能领域的竞争力。
