当天，此次竞赛完成最后一个综合战斗狙击课目——“凯旋”。至此，第一届“锋刃”国际狙击手射击竞赛全部12个课目比赛宣告结束。
晚17时，竞赛组委会为获得3个个人狙击课目、3个小组狙击课目和1个综合战斗狙击课目的冠亚季军和5个课目优胜奖进行了颁奖。经过激烈角逐，巴基斯坦代表队的阿萨德伊科巴获得个人总冠军，武警部队雪豹突击队获得小组总冠军。
本届国际狙击手射击竞赛是武警部队首次举办的国际性军事项目赛事，于8月22日拉开帷幕，按照精准狙击、运动狙击、潜伏狙击、对抗狙击的实战理念，区分个人狙击、小组狙击和综合战斗狙击3个类别设置12个狙击课目。来自白俄罗斯、柬埔寨、智利、法国、匈牙利、以色列等包括中国在内的15个国家的21个狙击小组、42名狙击手同场竞技。
据了解，武警部队今后将每两年举办一届“锋刃”国际狙击手射击竞赛，为持续加强国际军警部队的交流合作，进一步推进特战反恐能力建设，不断提高狙击手专业素质和实战能力搭建舞台，打造具有国际影响力的赛事品牌。
