中国外交部回应“中国工人被肯尼亚青年打伤”

　　【环球时报记者 白云怡】中国外交部4日向《环球时报》记者证实，8月2日肯尼亚纳洛克郡约200名当地民众冲击由中方企业承建的内罗毕至马拉巴铁路一期工程第五标段营地，造成13名中方工人和1名肯尼亚当地记者受伤。其中中方工人3人轻伤，10人轻微伤，均已送医治疗并得到妥善救治和安置。目前，肯方已承诺将开展调查并严惩肇事者。

　　据肯尼亚《民族日报》此前报道称，因不满中国企业不重视当地人就业，当天一群肯青年袭击了位于该国西南部纳罗克县的一处中资铁路建设工地。但据《环球时报》记者从涉事中国企业处了解，发生暴力事件的项目工程仍处在施工准备阶段，员工超过90%都是当地马赛族青年。但因当地族群间存在派系之分，一些未被雇用的青年感到不满，因此闯入中国企业示威，要求得到雇佣。但由于这些青年无法满足用工技能标准，中方未能同意。

　　中国外交部向《环球时报》表示，中国驻肯尼亚使馆第一时间指导协调有关中方企业及时将伤员送医治疗，并向肯尼亚政府提出严正交涉，要求肯方查清原因，严惩凶手，并采取有效措施保障中方人员及财产安全。肯政府方面已向中国伤者致以慰问，对中国政府及有关企业为肯铁路建设和国家各项事业发展做出的巨大贡献表示高度赞赏和衷心感谢。

　　中国外交部称，肯方承诺将开展调查并严惩肇事者，并按最严格标准进一步加强对工程项目的安保措施，确保中方员工人身财产和项目安全。
