Report 2050 China's elderly population is expected to reach 483 million
CNS, Beijing, July 15-the Chinese Association of mayors of the latest release of the China urban development report (2015) forecasts, by 2050, the elderly population in China reached 483 million, accounting for 34.1% of the total population, that is, one out of every three elderly.
Statistics showed that by the end of 2014, China's population had reached 212 million people above 60 years of age, accounting for 15.5% of the total population. At present, 80 per cent of the elderly population in China has reached 25 million, loss of size of the elderly population, over 40 million people. Report, it is predicted that by 2030, China's elderly population will reach 371 million, accounting for 25.3% of the total population.

报告预计2050年中国老年人口将达到4.83亿人
中新网北京7月15日电  中国市长协会最新发布的《中国城市发展报告(2015)》预测，到2050年，中国老年人口将达到4.83亿人，占总人口的34.1%，即每三个人中就有一个老年人。
　　国家统计局数据显示，截至2014年年底，中国60周岁以上的人口已经达到2.12亿人，占总人口的15.5%。当前，中国80岁以上的高龄老年人口已经达到2500万人，失能老年人口规模庞大，突破4000万人。报告称，患有慢性病的老年人持续增多，这些老年人口内部变动将进一步加剧老龄化的严峻性。
　　报告指出，据预测，到2030年，中国老年人口将达到3.71亿人，占总人口的25.3%。
　　按常住人口统计，2010年，中国北京、上海、重庆、广州、天津、深圳6个城市的人口超过千万。截至2014年底，上述6个城市户籍人口总量中60岁以上人口比例分别为22.6%、28.8%、19.4%、16.7%，21.2%和6%。
　　报告认为，面对日渐加剧的城市人口老龄化趋势，传统的居家养老模式受到强烈冲击。中国30多年来实施的独生子女政策的效果已经开始显现，户均人口减少，传统家庭赡养的支撑能力日渐下降。同时，子女在城市的生活、购房、就业等压力下，对单独生活的父母所给予的关注降低，城市老年的空巢化现象明显，并成为驱动城市老年人养老模式转型的重要因素。
　　根据调查，北京所有老人家庭中，老年人家庭中单身和只有老人的比重高达52.3%，空巢化趋势明显。报告称，目前中国高龄老年人口超过2500万人，随着人口预期寿命的延长，将会有越来越多的城市高龄老人。
