公益和商业相通

在马云看来，捐钱是世界上最容易的，但做好公益，却需要秉持“公益的心态，商业的手法”。

他将这种商业的手法总结为三点：一是结果导向，不能弄了老半天，没有结果，这就是瞎搞了；二是效率导向，别人干这件事情5块钱，你要争取2、3元就做好；三是公平导向，公益没办法强迫别人，不能觉得自己特别高尚，别人都是坏人，公平地沟通。

“做商业的人，必须想好自己的商业模式，必须要求有公益的成分。做公益的人，一定要看重结果和效率。”马云觉得商业和公益很多都是相同的。

马云公益基金现在已经运行了两年，他说现在他正在为基金物色人才，有一个要求就是基金的工作人员永远都要经过商业训练，有商业思维。“我不需要他们赚钱，懂得花钱比赚钱难”。

当然目前公益领域很多人都是反过来，“公益的手法，商业的心态”，更是有很多公益机构瞎做。马云觉得和商业一样，如果做错不如不做。

独一无二的模式

除了个人身份做公益之外，阿里巴巴还有一个每年拿出营业额的千分之三做公益的惯例。按照阿里巴巴去年943亿元的营收，这笔公益基金将达到2.8亿元。

马云说，这是阿里巴巴最独一无二的做法，之前全世界都没有哪个公司是这样做的。更加独特的做法是，这笔钱是由员工自己控制。

“阿里巴巴3万多名员工通过民主选举10名公益合伙人，由公益合伙人在任期内决定和支配公益基金。”马云对记者透露，目前阿里的公益基金已经投了100多个项目，而且今年的公益基金可能还会增加。

除此之外，他还规定阿里的员工必须每年抽出3个小时的私人时间去做公益。他的理由是阿里的第一个产品是人，公益能改变人的内心，唤醒人的善意和善心。人改变了，产品和技术自然会做改变。而阿里的产品是能影响4、5亿人，以后甚至是10亿、20亿。

不效仿任何人

走上公益之路，不可否认比尔盖茨的影响。马云说，感激盖茨在他的思想中种下了种子。

两位朋友都选择了捐出自己全部财产做慈善，作为中国科技首富的马云，也常常被卷入相关的讨论中。

马云非常坦诚地说，对于盖茨和扎克伯格，他尊重并且敬佩。但是并不代表他现在要去效仿。“我从不效仿任何人，我总是走一条不一样的路”。

在他看来，将所有的钱都捐出去，有些事情还没有准备好，中国还没有合适的环境和基础。盖茨是一个伟大的企业家，可以将财产管理得好。但是在中国，马云说自己找不到一个人或者一个组织能有效地使用这笔财产。

“种子已经在萌芽，像我这样的人已经开始建立系统，自己尝试。用2%的股本设立个人公益基金是就是一种尝试，等我把机制、人才等都建设好了，也许会大规模投入”。

马云说自己所持阿里巴巴的股份不过是9%，现在捐出去的其实比例已经很大了，他不想去做空头的许诺，希望能够理性地去做。

公益这件事，他说不着急。不仅仅是他自己这辈子会去做，他的孩子接下来会做，他的同事也会做，愚公移山慢慢让世界更好。

“我最近在纠结的事情，就是要不要做一个师范大学”。
