据《财富》报道称，Twitter估计其在中国地区约有1000万的活跃用户，美国仍是Twitter活跃用户数量最多的国家，约有6500万，Twitter的总活跃用户约为3.1亿。

值得一提的是，上述中国地区的Twitter活跃用户数字也是估计而已，因为目前官方也没有一个精确的方式来统计中国地区的用户，因为中国用户用的是位于其它国家的服务器。
