据介绍，在朋友的帮助下，彭豪杰制造这辆坦克花费了一年的时间，该坦克长10米，宽3.5米，重20吨，采用2.0排量的柴油发动机，时速可达15公里。为节约成本，整车的所有钢板、履带板都是用角磨机切割，甚至“炮塔”座圈的圆环也是通过角磨机手工切割而成。

最令人惊讶的是，这辆坦克除了火控系统不会发射炮弹、子弹外，机械原理、传动构造、动力系统、升降系统与真坦克几乎没有区别。

按照彭豪杰的意思，这辆仿真坦克近日将会卖给潍坊红领巾少年军校，作为少年军校的国防教具使用。
