值得一提的是该片美国本土票房大约只有可怜的3700万美元，并且影评也不是很好，而据悉《魔兽》投资成本大约为10.5亿人民币，目前其票房仍在缓慢增长中，电影导演邓肯·琼斯之前表示他打算继续再拍《魔兽》电影的续集。
