据日媒报道，在京都造形艺术大学学习陶艺的平田繁实今年春天以96岁零200天的高龄成为了全球最年长的大学毕业生。平田繁实2005年以85岁高龄入读京都造型艺术大学，用了11年的时间在八成科目上拿到了“优”，达到了毕业条件。

据悉，平田繁实生于日本广岛县，曾经是工伤医院的工作者，退休后一直呆在香川县。70岁时，他开始接触陶艺，从此一发不可收拾。在毕业典礼上，校长尾池和夫(76岁)曾经这样评价他“平田同学无止境的好奇心给我们这些后来人带来莫大的勇气”。

近日，当平田繁实被问及获得吉尼斯世界纪录认证的感受时，他笑着说，感谢周围支持我的人和给我机会的京都造形艺术大学，如果到了100岁身体依然允许，会考虑去读研究生。
