　　应塞尔维亚共和国总统尼科利奇邀请，中国国家主席习近平即将对塞尔维亚进行国事访问。访问前夕，尼科利奇总统在接受新华社记者专访时说，塞中友谊历史悠久、坚如长城，习主席访问塞尔维亚将揭开两国友好合作的新篇章。

　　尼科利奇首先回顾了塞中两国历久弥新的深厚友谊。他表示，塞中传统友好，目前双边关系处于历史最好水平，“我毫不怀疑，塞中友好关系对两国政府和人民都非常重要”。

　　尼科利奇认为，中方提出的“一带一路”倡议和中国－中东欧合作机制非常适合塞尔维亚的战略发展定位。同时，塞尔维亚与欧盟、俄罗斯、土耳其等国有着广泛的经贸合作，在此基础上，塞尔维亚可以成为中国在整个地区的桥梁，成为中国进入欧洲市场的桥头堡。“我相信，中国企业在塞投资建厂、把共同生产的产品推向全球市场是完全可期的”。

　　此外，尼科利奇还指出，现在在更高层次上加强塞中两国人民互相了解的时机已经成熟，希望双方能在科技、文学、艺术等领域加强交流与合作。
