这一消息来自于香港《文汇报》，据悉用于盗取银行网络信息的电邮内含有恶意代码，能够筛选和获取银行客户的账户和密码，并且能够洞悉银行使用的软件信息。FireEye专家表示，这种“先侦察后下手”的方式并不常见，表明了本次作案的特殊性以及黑客攻击方式的升级。

此前中东和非洲最大银行卡塔尔国家银行（QNB）曾经遭受黑客入侵，大量账户密码被外泄到网上，但FireEye专家称这次遭到“侦查”的银行不包括QNB，不过也没提及到底哪些银行成为黑客的关注对象。但毫无疑问，已经有部分银行网络系统遭到入侵，黑客已经掌握了相关内容。
