外交官代表一国形象，更应尊重和遵循驻在国的法律，约束自己的行为，而不是利用自己的身份以及特权规避规则，随心所欲。这是外交官的基本素养和基本道德。否则，其损害的将是一国形象，甚至影响两国外交大局。
