中国国家防总会认为,入汛以来,全国平均降水量173毫米,较常年同期偏多18%。其中太湖流域平均降水量464毫米,较常年同期偏多75%,列1961年以来首位;东北东部和中部、江淮、江南东部和西南部、西北中部部分地区偏多2至5成,东北中部、西北中北部、江淮南部、江南东北部偏多5成以上;太湖出现2016年第1号洪水,为今年大江大河大湖首次超警。全国14个省(区、市)144条河流超警,为近5年以来同期最多。

  目前,南方主要江河水位均高于常年和1998年同期,长江、太湖、西江等南方江河当前水位较常年偏高0.73至3.05米。其中,长江中下游干流及洞庭湖、鄱阳湖较常年偏高2.53至3.05米,较1998年同期偏高2.49至3.68米;太湖水位较常年偏高0.73米,为仅次于1954年同期的第二高水位。

  据预测,端午节期间,我国主要降水区在长江以南和东北华北等地,以阵性降水为主,局部强度较大。其中华南沿海、四川、湖南、湖北、江西等地部分地区将有大到暴雨,华北北部、东北大部将有中雨,黑龙江中东部将有大雨。
