去年12月，苏宁斥资5.23亿全面接手中超球队原江苏国信舜天足球俱乐部，更名为江苏苏宁足球俱乐部。

苏宁集团董事长张近东坦言自己非常喜欢足球，且是一位德国球迷，而且足球这项运动与苏宁集团“执着拼搏、永不言败”的企业精神高度契合。张近东表示，集团已将体育板块的足球作为核心，打造互联网+体育的生态圈。
