报告提到，仅在2016年初的几个月时间里，匿名者就发起过若干次大规模的网络攻击，其中包括针对BBC的DDoS分布式拒绝服务攻击、前不久针对美国总统竞选人特朗普的“#OpTraump”运动、以及针对希腊央行的攻击以及日产汽车发起的“#OpKillingBay”运动。其中，“#OpTraump”、“#OpKillingBay”也是2016年初期规模最大的两次黑客网络攻击行动。

另外，匿名者组织菲律宾分支还攻击了当地政府，泄露了将近5000名菲律宾选民的个人信息，其带来的危害性仍然不容小觑。

SurWatch Labs也提到，此前臭名昭著的叙利亚电子军和Lizard Squad不知为何就像从地球上消失了一样，完全检测不到它们任何的活动痕迹。
